Isabelle Franca

I am a motivated and people-oriented Psychology student with a strong background in customer service and hospitality. Through my professional experience, I have developed strong communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and interpersonal skills while working in fast-paced environments. I enjoy connecting with people from different backgrounds and creating positive experiences for those around me.

I am dependable, adaptable, and eager to continue developing both professionally and academically as I work toward my long-term goal of becoming a lawyer.

My work experience has primarily been in customer service, hospitality, and brand representation. As a server at White Spot, I have gained valuable experience communicating with customers, managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment, resolving concerns professionally, processing payments, and working closely with a team. I have also developed strong sales and upselling skills by making personalized recommendations and building genuine connections with guests.

Previously, I worked as a Brand Ambassador for Pediatric Dental Group, where I represented the organization at community events and promotional campaigns. This position strengthened my confidence, professionalism, communication skills, and ability to work independently while representing a brand positively. Together, these experiences have taught me how to communicate effectively, remain composed under pressure, take responsibility, and work well with many different personalities.

I am currently pursuing my undergraduate education in Psychology at Langara College, with the goal of transferring to Simon Fraser University to complete my Bachelor of Arts degree. Psychology has strengthened my interest in understanding human behaviour, communication, decision-making, and the different factors that influence individuals and society.

After completing my bachelor’s degree at SFU, I plan to pursue law school and work toward becoming a lawyer. I am particularly interested in building a career where I can combine strong communication, critical thinking, advocacy, and an understanding of people. My education is an important part of my long-term professional goals, and I am committed to continuing to challenge myself academically while gaining meaningful professional experience along the way.
