Regional planner with nearly seven years of experience managing transportation, land use, sustainability, public engagement, and regional planning initiatives for the San Joaquin Council of Governments. • Lead development of major portions of SJCOG's 2026 Regional Transportation Plan and Sustainable Communities Strategy, including policies, scenario performance, growth projections, economic impacts, regional progress indicators, preferred-scenario documentation, graphics, and public-facing materials.
• Evaluate transportation, land use, housing, environmental, equity, public health, and greenhouse-gas considerations to support regional planning decisions and document the performance of the Sustainable Communities Strategy.
• Manage consultant-led planning projects from scope development through completion, including schedules, contracts, invoices, technical review, stakeholder coordination, public outreach, and final deliverables.
• Prepare and present staff reports, annual reports, committee appointments, program updates, and recommendations for the SJCOG Board, Citizens Advisory Committee, Airport Land Use Commission, and other public bodies.
• Developed the successful application for a $15 million Federal Highway Administration grant supporting clean-fuel transportation infrastructure in San Joaquin County.
• Managed Bike San Joaquin, a regional electric bikeshare and long-term e-bike lending program, including vendor coordination, site-host partnerships, program policies, outreach, performance tracking, and expansion to universities, housing organizations, and community destinations.
• Manage the Citizens Advisory Committee, including recruitment, appointments, vacancies, bylaws, attendance requirements, meeting materials, member communication, and coordination with SJCOG leadership.
• Coordinate SJCOG's Regional Census Data Center and SJC Data Compass partnership with the University of the Pacific, supporting demographic research, community-based participatory research, public information, speaker events, and regional data access.
• Managed or supported regional initiatives including the Alternative Fuels Vision Plan, Active Transportation Plan in Priority Neighborhoods, Mobility Hub Plan, climate resilience planning, transportation demand management, housing programs, and the Lodi Greenline rail-to-trail initiative.
• Plan and conduct community and stakeholder engagement through workshops, open houses, surveys, presentations, advisory meetings, and community events in coordination with local agencies, consultants, nonprofit organizations, universities, and residents.
