Isaiah Murray

Having varied research and professional experience at the intersection of urban planning and information science, I have acquired a myriad of skills for serving the public through different mediums and at various scales. Specializing in using technology to uplift marginalized communities, I understand that diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility are foundational to bridging people together and establishing clear goals.

Highlights of my abilities include:

• Using tech to increasing civic engagement in public processes
• Applying a mixed methods research approach to designing culturally-relevant user experiences
• Conducting landscape analyses to identify resources and activate partnerships for community development
• Asking and answering critical questions of big data to influence change

I have worked in several non-profits, local and federal government, research innovation labs, and economic development councils. In these experiences I was streamlined processes and increased engagement by creating technology solutions.

I hold a Dual Master's Degree from Cornell Tech in Urban Technology as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Information Science and a Bachelor of Science in Urban & Regional Studies.
