I canI am a dedicated and hardworking individual who is always focused on enhancing my skills. I am committed to becoming a successful mental health therapist, and I actively pursue opportunities for growth and development in my field.
For several years, I have been immersed in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). In my role, I skillfully implement a variety of coping strategies tailored to meet the unique needs of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). My approach goes beyond just behavior modification; I focus on teaching vital life skills that empower these children to navigate everyday situations confidently.
Additionally, I incorporate gross motor skill development into my sessions, helping them build physical coordination and strength. As part of my commitment to their future success, I also prepare them for school, ensuring they are equipped with the foundational skills necessary to thrive in an academic environment. My work is dedicated to fostering growth and independence in every child I support.
I am currently enrolled in graduate school, working toward my Master's degree in Clinical Psychology. Throughout my coursework, I have engaged in various classes that focus on developing my skills as a future counselor. Recently, I had the opportunity to conduct a mock therapy session, which allowed me to apply the techniques I've learned and gain valuable hands-on experience in a supportive environment.
