Jackson Uhl

My interest in information technology began with my initiative to attend a career center during my high school years. It was at the Delaware Area Career Center where I learned the fundamentals of programming using JavaScript and C#. Going into college, I would continue on this path by majoring in Computer Science. During my time at Bowling Green State University I learned the C++ programming language, web development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, a variety of data structures to better organize my programs, and so much more. Standing on the cusp of graduation, I remain prepared to use this information to help people and make the world a better place.

Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green, OH 08/2022 – 12/2022:

I was responsible for helping both the students and the teacher in the programming fundamentals class. I also helped host the weekly study sessions where we reviewed material and assisted with the programming assignments. Most importantly, I learned the importance of verbal communication to better explain coding techniques.

Marco’s Pizza, 8605 Columbus Pike, Lewis Center, OH 05/2018 - 08/2022:

I was responsible for making the pizzas and delivering them to the customers. Most importantly, I learned the importance of teamwork in order to maximize customer satisfaction, especially in such a fast work environment.

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Bowling Green State University 08/2020 - Present

I've taken a variety of technical courses that have expanded my knowledge of IT including but not limited to C++ development, computer networking, and database management. I'm an inducted member of the Phi Beta Kappa academic honors society. Throughout my time in college I've steadily maintained a 4.0 GPA.

Application Development and Programming, Delaware Area Career Center 08/2018 - 05/2020

I worked on a multitude of projects ranging from web design to game development using the Unity Game Engine. Additionally, I learned the fundamentals of programming using JavaScript and C#.
