Jacob Egnor

Hello! My name is Jacob and I currently install tires and perform routine oil changes on all types of vehicles, foreign and domestic. I've been a technician for going on 3 years now at Walmart's Auto Care Center. I'm finishing up school for an Associates in Teaching, and working on a certification for automotive service.

~3 years of being a Walmart Auto Care Center Technician

• Removal/Mounting and Balancing of tires
• Diagnosing damages for warranty claims 
• Successfully repairing damages when applicable
• Knowledge of numerous engine types, fluid and filter requirements, dealership warranties, etc
• Proper torque and manufacturer specs followed to the letter
• Able to explain vehicle problems and solutions with customers clearly
• Worked with Asset Protections to prevent shrinkage/theft

• Learned how to properly engage customers in sales and advertisements
• Handled price changes and restocking 
• Learned state regulations and license requirements for Department of Natural Resources

~Currently 8 credits away from an associates degree at Washtenaw Community College in Secondary Education (Teaching) with a minor in psychology. I will have completed the program of study in Fall of 2025
