Hello!
I am currently a Biologist working with a major pharmaceutical company in Indianapolis, IN! I have close to 2 years of experience with cell-base in-vitro assays as well as organoid culturing and testing using microphysiological systems (MPS) chip technology. I have obtained a lot of experience in early developmental high-throughput ADME screening assays testing new compounds for Absorption, Distribution, Metabolism, and Excretion (ADME) properties.
I also have further experience using LC/MS via Agilent Technologies triple Quadrapole systems for testing of small and large molecule compounds, siRNA, and peptides. My experience extends from basic cell culture and organoid maintenance to automation of assays using Hamilton robots to complex in vitro cell-based assays using several techniques such as TaqMan and SYBR Green qPCR, cell staining/microscopy, and flow cytometry.
I have been working for almost two years as a biologist at a major pharmaceutical company in Indianapolis, IN. I have been working in the ADME-Toxicology lab collaborating with a large group of scientists within my department and outside my department for early development of new drug compounds. I also have previous lab work experience at the IU School of Medicine doing protein purification work.
I graduated from IUPUI in 2022 with a Bachelor's of Science (BS) in Neuroscience. This degree includes a mesh of biochemistry, microbiology, and organic chemistry that requires higher levels of mathematics courses as well as offers a more expansive range of higher graduate level courses in Neurobiology and Neurochemistry than other degrees such as Biology.
