I have worked as a registered polysomnographic technologist since 2009. While working full time, I went back to school to get my master's degree in chemistry. I am now looking to change careers to my new area of study, chemistry.
My thesis was "The analysis of contaminants of emerging concern in the waters of southeastern North Carolina using high resolution mass spectrometry". I used non-target mass spectrometry to analyze environmental samples and created a library of putative identifications based on the fragmentation data collected.
I have worked in the medical field as a registered polysomnographic technologist. While attending graduate school, I was a teaching assistant for organic chemistry labs.
I am in the process of completing my master's degree. I have defended my thesis and am making final edits to my document for submission.
