Responsible for technical assistance to contractors, or health plans. Research on errors found on data submitted by contractors as encounters.
Detailed research in the main frame system called Prepaid Medical Management Information System (PMMIS).
Responsible for maximizing the successful transmission of paid and denied claims data (encounters) to the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS).
Prepares and submits required reports to AHCCCS.
Familiar and adhere to polices, rules, and regulations of an agency.
Familiar with laws, rules, and regulations governing the operation of the Arizona Title –XIX Medicaid program.
Advanced expertise with databases and spreadsheets.
Experience with auditing claims submitted by providers.
Experience with research and analysis in the QNXT system with claim submissions which also includes (EDI) Electronic Data Interchange, for claims that are submitted to the contractor electronically through a clearinghouse or website.
Experience with the Arizona Financial Information System (AFIS) for accounts payable for queries of data for warranted (checks) cashed or cleared or checks that are in outstanding status.
Experience processing licenses of professional applicants whether in terminated, expired or active status by database entries.
I have had some college experience. I have a diploma as a medical records specialist. I wish to further my education in Business management to obtain a bachelors degree.
