Jacqueline Trella

I am Currently employed at the Arizona Department of Child Safety where I hold a position as an Investigations Program Supervisor. I currently manage a team of six specialists who investigate allegations of child maltreatment. Together with my specialists, we collaborate to create plans of approach to work with families, gathering information and making high-stakes decisions in a very fast-paced environment.

I have Been with the Department for 6 years and have been in leadership roles for 4 of those years. I believe In leading by being present and actively doing the hard work alongside those on my team and approach challenges with a solution minded attitude that is free from shaming and blaming.

Prior to my professional capacity as a social worker, I always held jobs that were based in the service industry. I began Working when I was 16 years old at Boston Market. I remained in that job for approximately 3 years before I moved on to Buca Di Beppo.

While at Buca I worked Initial as a host before moving into the role of server. During this time, I obtained Secondary employment at Pandora Jewelry where I was A sales associate. I maintained These positions while pursuing my social work degree.

While I have Never held a position specific to event planning, I spend much of my free time planning various events for close friends and family. Extravagant birthday parties, bridal showers and assisting with weddings. These bring me so much joy and gives me the adrenaline rush in a different capacity than my full time job does.
