I'm Jade, a UX designer who started off as a Software Engineer. When I discovered UX design, I was ecstatic to find a way to combine my passion for technology and my long love of art/design. I grew interested in creating designs that prioritize accessibility and provide a positive user experience. For me, good design isn't just about aesthetics, it's about making sure that everyone can use the product, regardless of their abilities or disabilities.

Spearheaded the design of a lightweight website optimized for use during natural disasters and limited cell service situations, with the goal of enhancing brand love and increasing top-of-mind awareness

Designs and develops visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces for 5E’s web platform using Figma, while adhering to established branding guidelines

Creates rapid prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts and iterate on feedback while applying user-centered design principles to enhance the usability and accessibility of 5E’s website

Collaborates closely with a Digital Strategist to ensure the delivery of high-quality, user-centered designs within tight deadlines,

Partnered closely with the company owner to identify business objectives and requirements and translate them into the user interface design

Directed the user interface design for a booking marketplace website, overseeing user experience design and testing to validate the interface’s usability

Worked independently from concept development to high-fidelity prototyping, delivering user interface designs that are production ready

Directed, managed, and facilitated collaboration within the frontend team to develop frontend screens in Xcode in a SCRUM environment

Programmed intuitive user interfaces using Xcode and the Swift programming language, optimizing for usability and user experience

Contributed to the development of high-fidelity user interface prototypes in Figma, with a focus on meeting the needs of target users
