Hey there! My name is Jaiden Plaisir, and I am currently a sophomore at George Washington University. I am majoring in Accountancy while exploring the fields of real estate and entrepreneurship. Being from Brooklyn, New York, I watched the constant growth and change in the city.
The transformation of buildings, neighborhoods, and businesses to better serve the community made me curious about the whole investment and construction process along with their impact on different stakeholders. My curiosity took me to a few real estate clubs at GW where I got to learn more about the field and also got an internship where I help with market research and financial modeling for expansion. Outside of my business experiences, my experience in fashion and content creation has equipped me with a good eye for presentation and branding, while being a lifeguard has taught me to focus, hold accountability and remain calm under pressure.
Overall I have developed strong analytical thinking skills, a creative, progressive, and future-focused thinking space, and a people-first energy that comes to every project and team.
I have developed a strong foundation in business, real estate, and financial analysis through my roles in property management, client service, and leadership. My experience includes supporting operations and marketing initiatives as a Real Estate Intern with 4stay, managing daily responsibilities under pressure as a lifeguard, and running my own fashion resale venture that strengthened my customer service, communication, and organizational skills. I am actively involved in real estate clubs at GW, where I continue to build industry knowledge and connect with professionals.
I'm currently a sophomore at The George Washington University School of Business majoring in Accountancy with minors in Real Estate and Entrepreneurship. Through my coursework, REFA, CREN, and Delta Sigma Pi, I have gained experience in financial modeling, real estate fundamentals, and business strategy. I have consistently taken on challenging courses and leadership focused programs to prepare for a career in real estate, finance, and investment analysis.
