I am a recent graduate of the University of Northern Colorado. I want to become an English teacher and travel the world to help people in any way that I can. I found this passion for teaching and traveling when I had the opportunity to study abroad in Canberra, Australia.
During this time, I was able to tutor my roommates in English and fell in love with doing so. I want to continue to do this since I believe that helping people is the best way to gain happiness. I have been teaching/tutoring for 3 years now and I have also coached baseball for around 7 years in total.
I have attained the patience to teach both young kids and young adults. In addition to this, I have observed ESL classes at my former high school this past year. I am currently learning Japanese and hope to be able to use what I know to help myself navigate life.
My dream would be to live and teach English in Japan. I do firmly believe in communication is a big impact on learning a new language and strive to have my lesson consist of this idea. I love being able to help people and with teaching, I can do this.
Along with this, I also enjoy traveling, meeting new people, and learning about the cultures and history of different nations. Overall, I am looking forward to teaching and traveling the world.
I am a recent graduate from the University of Northern Colorado with a Bachelor's degree. I graduated in the month of May. Along with my Bachelor's degree, I also have a TEFL Certificate.
