- Provide critical care management for patients with neurological injuries, including stroke, TBI, subarachnoid hemorrhage, seizures, brain tumors, and post-operative neurosurgical cases.

- Collaborate with neurosurgeons, neurologists, intensivists, and multidisciplinary teams to plan and evaluate care.
- Educate patients and families on disease process, procedures, and ongoing care needs.

- Perform every two hour assessment such as vital signs, neurological assessments, neurovascular assessments, and overall well-being of the patient's mental health

- Maintain and monitor IV medications and knowing what signs and symptoms to look for if there is any type of reaction.

- Assess vital signs, telemetry readings, lab values, and treat accordingly.
- Collaborate with other nurses, managers, case management, social workers, Doctors, Physician assistants, pharmacists, dietary, logistics and environmental services.

- At times I work on the step down side of our floor where the patients are more critically ill and it involves every 2 hour assessments such as; vital signs, neurological assessment, neurovascular assessments
