Hello, my name is Jan and I am a resident of Lansing who is looking for internships or any employment opportunities to satiate my desire in becoming a financial professional. I am bilingual and have spent half of my life in Ukraine so I have a unique and culturally diverse background that I believe is an asset when dealing with customers in any service industry.
I have worked in Community Mental Health as a Residential Technician working with people that have developmental disabilities. This job has given me experience working with very difficult individuals who require very tailored approach to communicated with them and providing for their needs. My most valuable skills I have developed from this position is conflict resolution and de-escalation. I believe these skills will help me tremendously when working in any customer related service industry.
I have taken Managerial and Financial Accounting. Macro and Micro Economics as well as World Policy Economics. Marketing and various other General Education Pre-requisites have also been part of my course load.
