About

I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a Master's Degree in Special Education, qualifications that, along with over 20 years of teaching experience, strongly prepare me for this role. My passion for education began in high school while tutoring younger students. Since then, I have taught Pre-K, Grade 1, and Grade 5—managing classrooms of up to 45 students for full-day instruction.

I am currently working as a substitute teacher across various charter schools in Houston, serving learners from Pre-K through high school, including SPED. My background in special education has enhanced my ability to differentiate instruction, manage diverse classrooms, collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, and make data-driven decisions. I am committed to creating inclusive, engaging, and supportive learning environments that meet the needs of all learners.
