Janel Weller

I am a busy mom of two, and wife who lives in Brookfield, Wisconsin.

I have worked in education for 6 years and prior to that I worked in adult disability services. I value the relationships I have built with clients, students and their families over the years. I am passionate about working with children who have special needs, and teaching them skills to build their independence.

I have strong written and verbal communication skills. Additionally, I have training in non-violent crisis intervention and have the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.

My family is everything to me and being a mom is my proudest achievement. Staying active and maintaining a healthy lifestyle are also top priorities. I enjoy being outdoors, cooking, gardening, and reading in my spare time.

For the past six years I have been working in Elementary Education, specializing in Special Education. I have worked as a Special Education Teacher, as well as a Special Education Teaching Assistant.

I have a BA in Sociology and earned a Master of Arts in Teaching degree in 2020.
