Hi, I'm Janet - a cooking enthusiast. I like to cook different delicious food and I also share my knowledge with friends. As they are helpful for me. And I find unique recipe ideas everywhere for improving my cooking skill.
Recent Computer Science graduate (3.8 GPA) seeking to use my backend development experience in an entry-level position. Possess 4 months of internship experience building and testing applications for Android, iOS, and Windows. Skilled with C, C++, Java, JavaScript, Python, and Swift. Independently built a note-taking application that was recently approved by the Apple App Store.
I considered several schools when I was initially applying to colleges. I chose to begin my education at a community college because of the flexibility and cost savings it offered. While attending school, I was also working 30 hours per week and supporting myself. A community college gave me the flexibility to take certain courses online, attend night courses on campus and save money. I was able to finish my associate degree in two years and then transferred to a larger university to complete my bachelor’s degree.
I chose the larger university for my bachelor’s degree because I wanted the opportunity to be a part of a larger, more diverse student body. This university also has a very strong journalism program, which has provided me with a large network of alumni to network with and a great internship opportunity I participated in at the end of my program.
