Part Time Server at The Lodge of Mallards Landing (2023-12 – 2024-03)
Serving from 4:00 pm-7:00 pm to residents at the lodge. Preparing meals that were ordered from nurses to send to the residents or for residents to pick up. Then at around 4:00 pm is the start of taking orders in my specific section chosen from my manager.
Residents had a choice of either the main meal or alternative meal, giving the option of appetizers if wanted. Residents also had the choice of wanting any deserts provided on the menu for the week. As residents left, I had to clean and reset the table for the next residents or next day.
But around 6:30 is when the clean up of the dining area began and the ending of service. Being provided side work to clean specific areas that only I was responsible for.
Care however, was different from the residential area. Starting at the same time, except appetizers were served first before the meals with desserts at the end. Service would end around 5:00 pm. This was because residents in Memory Care had a certain routine needed to be followed while serving. But at the end of service, clean up is similar to the residential area only it's me who does the cleaning, since only one person can serve and clean in Memory Care.
Part Time-Full Time Shift Lead at Qdoba (2025-06-20 – Present)
From 9 to 4 or 8 to 4, I would be providing line service and retail service. While also prepping, catering, and cooking when needed. Leading up to a shift lead position. Leading the team towards success while trying to maintain store needs.
Following up with labor, maintaining the store cleanliness, showing outstanding customer service, and communicating with employees that follow not only store needs, but their needs as well. While being shift lead it was my duty to make sure customers were served correctly and met up to their standards, which was the QDOBA standard.
