I’m Jazmín Ortega, a bilingual administrative professional and passionate youth advocate with a strong background in community-based work. From supporting office operations at the U.S.
Bureau to currently working with the National Youth Advocate Program, I bring a blend of organization, empathy, and attention to detail to everything I do. I'm driven by a deep desire to create positive change and support those in need, especially young people navigating challenging circumstances. With strong communication skills and a heart for service, I strive to be the bridge that connects people to the help and resources they deserve.
I have over five years of experience in administrative roles across both government and nonprofit sectors. My background includes managing accounts payable, intake coordination, legal appointment support, and payroll administration. I currently serve as a Case Aide at the National Youth Advocate Program, where I support children’s services through detailed documentation and communication coordination. Previously, I worked with the Village of Oak Park and the U.S.
Bureau, where I developed strong skills in data management, customer service, and process improvement. My work is rooted in community impact, organization, and compassionate service.
I hold a High School Diploma from J. Sterling Morton High School (2017) and have continued advancing my professional development through several certifications. These include Social Media Marketing (HubSpot, 2024), CPR & First Aid (PRO-CPR, 2024), Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI), and Reimagining Mental Health Supports for Migrant Training. Together, these reflect my dedication to providing informed, compassionate care and support in both administrative and community-based settings.
