I am a student at Babson College, studying Technology and Entrepreneurship. I want to learn the necessary skills in order to one day start my own creative technology company, whether it is B to B or B to C. Right now, my concentration is in UI/UX design, but I'm planning to move forward onto full-stack development.
I am professionally trained as a graphic designer and UI/UX designer. I have worked for over 3 years with Babson College, helping with marketing initiatives such as designing the yearbook and new school merchandise. I'm currently looking to expand my technical toolbox by learning more programming languages.
This summer, I was a UI/UX intern for a financial technology company, Social Trade.
Trade is a financial app that aims to create a supportive community around investing, as well as offering learning features as well. For my internship, I was on the design team for the new feature that Social Trade wanted to implement. They wanted to add a “University Trading Competition” section to the app.
With my team, I conducted weeks of wireframing, prototyping, UX research, and brand alignment, in order to create a stunning, customer-centric prototype for the new feature. The feature is set to be launched in October.
