An interior designer is responsible for creating functional, aesthetically pleasing spaces by developing design concepts, selecting materials, furniture, color schemes, and layouts, and ensuring that the final design aligns with the client's vision, needs, and budget. They collaborate with architects, contractors, and vendors to oversee project execution, ensuring that every element meets both practical and stylistic requirements while adhering to building codes and safety regulations. Interior designers often specialize in residential, commercial, or hospitality spaces, utilizing their creativity, technical expertise, and knowledge of design software to transform interiors into cohesive and well-balanced environments.

With four years of experience in a construction design firm, I have developed a well-rounded skill set as an interior designer, architectural drafter, and office manager. My role involved meeting and acquiring clients, drafting architectural and interior design plans, and coordinating with contractors and vendors to ensure seamless project execution. I managed project timelines and budgets, sourced materials and samples, and conducted site visits to oversee progress.

Additionally, I handled office operations, prepared client presentations and proposals, and ensured all designs adhered to building codes and client requirements. This diverse experience has strengthened my ability to balance creativity, technical precision, and project management in the field of design and construction.

I have an associate degree in architecture and a certificate in interior design, providing a strong foundation in design and drafting. I am currently planning to complete my bachelor's in architecture to expand my expertise and career opportunities further.
