Aftermarket Service Technician at Eriez (2021-07 – 2022-10)
With a primary focus on metal detection, I handle service-related inquiries in Eriez' aftermarket department. Whether it is an inquiry regarding installation questions, spare parts, replacement parts, technician service, or even sending in units for repair - I'm your guy. I also directly handle repairs as often as I am capable of doing so.
There are multiple product lines that this applies to, and I work in a specially-constructed room for the repair of these metal detectors. Occasionally, I even travel for Eriez on service calls, especially for our FF, Metalarm, and 1200 lines of metal detectors.

There is no position I have ever worked where I have been forced to utilize my technical expertise, common sense, and resources to the extent that this position requires. I travel around within a specified working area to perform repair or installation work on various security systems. Our customer base is broad, and this position requires a vast knowledge of different devices, as well as a thorough understanding of electrical test equipment.
Many of the devices we service are network-based, while some are not. I currently cycle through an on-call schedule to account for time after hours and on weekends. I worked directly under the owner of the company to ensure smooth daily operations. I was responsible for a small team of no more than 10 people at any given time.
