Jerry Brumlow

I am currently an Assistant Chief and Security Threat Group (STG) Coordinator for the Georgia Department of Community Supervision. I also work part-time with the FBI Safe Streets Gang Task Force where I have planned and executed multiple successful warrant operations, gang operations and gang compliance checks. In this position, I supervise a group of officers and administrative staff to ensure they are fulfilling their duties and obligations.

The mission of the Georgia Department of Community Supervision is to strive to keep our communities safe and transition rehabilitated offenders back into society. This is done effectively through supervision and surveillance of offenders in their daily lives. This position requires a variety of work hours each week, consisting of early mornings, late evenings and weekends.

Some of the topics covered during DCS basic law enforcement training include: Georgia State and Constitutional Law, firearms, defensive tactics, felony warrant service, arrest procedures, search and seizure, emergency vehicle operations, and effective communication techniques. I also serve on the Human Trafficking Task Force work group number 5. I work very closely with the GBI, FBI and local LE on building cases and compliance checks. 2021 GGIA Gang Investigator of the year.

I am currently the Georgia Field Officer for the Gideon's International where I equip and train Gideon's with recruitment, Bible distribution and testimony sharing. I currently work with the youth group at New Liberty Baptist and participate in community outreach.
