I work for the Arizona department of corrections as a correctional officer. Work changes on a day to day basis so I am good and thinking and coming up with plans/solutions fairly quickly. I was a house officer starting off doing showers, count, and security checks.
I then went to become a yard officer pulling inmates for rec, chow, medical etc.. doing pat downs and cell searches on a daily basis. Before leaving I was a certified tower officer watching over the inmates and officers we had 40mm scat rounds and high velocity rounds that we used as well as CS sting ball grenades. I was also pepper ball certified.
