I am a dedicated behavioral health professional with experience supporting individuals and families across substance use treatment, mental health, crisis stabilization, residential care, and behavioral health services. My work is grounded in a client-centered, strengths-based approach focused on building trust, promoting safety, and helping individuals develop meaningful strategies for recovery and long-term well-being.
In my current role as a Clinician with Our Common Ground, I conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide individual and group counseling for clients experiencing substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions. I utilize evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI), to support clients in developing coping skills, achieving recovery goals, and preventing relapse. I also have experience with crisis intervention, risk assessments, medication-assisted treatment coordination, intake and discharge planning, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
My background with Pacific Clinics as a Crisis Family Specialist has strengthened my ability to work with youth and families in residential and crisis stabilization settings. I provide behavioral and mental health support, identify triggers, implement crisis interventions, and collaborate with youth and family teams using culturally responsive and family-driven approaches.
I also bring hands-on experience as a Registered Behavior Technician, where I have supported individuals with behavioral challenges, implemented behavior intervention plans, collected and analyzed behavioral data, and provided assistance with activities of daily living and crisis response. Earlier experience as a Withdrawal Management Technician further developed my skills in detoxification support, client monitoring, medication coordination, safety assessments, documentation, and working effectively in fast-paced, client-centered environments.
Across my roles, I have developed strong skills in clinical assessment, counseling, crisis intervention, behavioral support, care coordination, documentation, treatment planning, and multidisciplinary teamwork. I value empathy, collaboration, cultural responsiveness, and treating every individual with dignity and respect.
I am passionate about helping people navigate challenging periods in their lives and empowering them to build the skills, confidence, and support systems needed to move toward healthier and more fulfilling futures.
