Jesus Ramos

"Mi nuevo comienzo," which translates to, "My new beginning," is a quote that I live by day by day ever since I started my college career to remind myself of my goals and plans that lie ahead.

Being the first person in my family to go to college, I knew the challenges of pursuing engineering, but it's something I've always wanted to do. As a mechatronics engineering student at Texas A&M University, I am learning about two aspects in engineering, the mechanical and electronics side, of engineering. By pursuing this degree, I am able to see how these two systems interact with each other and the projects that come out of this.

My goal is to explore various aspects of mechatronics engineering and apply the skills that I am learning through this degree and the prestigious team that I am part of in order to be an effective engineer and individual in the industry and in life.
