As Solid Waste Superintendent with the City of Odessa, I was responsible for the daily operations and long-term planning of municipal solid waste and recycling services for the community. I manage collection services, fleet operations, personnel supervision, safety compliance, and customer service to ensure reliable and efficient waste management operations.
I am responsible for supervising field staff, coordinating equipment maintenance and replacement, monitoring route efficiency, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations. My role includes budget oversight, contract administration, performance management, and implementation of operational improvements to enhance service delivery.
