Laundry Worker - Pleasant Acres Nursing and Rehabilitation Center

(2023-06 - 2025-12)

• Operated commercial washers, dryers, and ironing machines.
• Sorted soiled laundry and set machines to appropriate cycles for types of materials.
• Routinely cleaned lint traps of dryers to increase drying time and avoid fires.
• Gathered soiled laundry from chutes into large bins.
• Moved heavy laundry bins through different processing areas.
• Worked with others to maintain an adequate supply of linens and clothes for residents and staff.

Laundry Worker - Manor Care/Inners Creek Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center

(2018 - 2023)

• Operated commercial washers, dryers, and ironing equipment.
• Sorted soiled laundry and set machines to appropriate cycles for types of materials.
• Routinely cleaned lint traps in dryers to increase drying time and avoid fires.
• Went to different levels of the facility to gather soiled laundry in bins and transported the bins to the laundry.
• Moved heavy laundry bins through different processing areas.
• Worked with others to maintain an adequate supply of linens and clothing for residents and staff.
