๐ฉโ๐ As a recent Cal State Fullerton graduate with a Master's degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Physiology I want to make a positive impact on my community, I intend to use my experiences and education for the benefit of others.
On top of studying at Cal Poly Pomona and Cal State Fullerton, I spent my semesters and summers remotely and on campus as an intern for the Center for Successful Aging and a research assistant on a study for individuals with Down Syndrome who participated in a remote resistance training program. These roles allowed me to not only hone my organization and time management skills and ability to cooperate with other team members. With a master's degree in Exercise Physiology and a proven track record in data analysis, I am well-prepared to tackle the challenges of this role head-on.
Through my work as a graduate student, I have conducted extensive research on exercise interventions for chronic diseases, utilizing advanced statistical techniques to extract valuable insights.
My undergraduate and graduate coursework gave me exposure to a great breadth of topics, including statistical methods, research methods, environmental and clinical exercise physiology, gerokinesiology (dimensions of aging), applied exercise psychology, anatomy, human physiology, foundations of biology, general chemistry, general physics, and biomechanics, all of which have helped me increase my knowledge of and passion for research in as a whole.
