10 years + experienced Low Voltage Technician seeking full time employment with networking / security / fire alarm companies. Have installed numerous systems in networking services including secured access control and fire alarm. Some examples include structured cabling systems including WAPS, wall drops, intercom systems, data voice jacks , data rack installation patch panels, testing and certification, speakers hanging TV‘S and monitors, Security Side, security cameras, card readers, magnetic door locks, Bio Metrics, and various Alarm systems.
Fire systems including Smoke and Fire Alarms, Smoke Detectors, Duct Detectors, Pull Stations, and Some Fire Panels.
10 + years experience in Structured Network Cabling , installation, testing and certification.
Systems, card readers, cameras, intercom, speakers magnetic door sensors, locks and request to exit, alarms. Fire safety systems alarms, smoke sensors, alarms, smoke detectors, duct detectors etc. worked as lead and as part of team. Can read blueprints and can submit redline changes, have ordered materials and received materials, communicate through verbal and written communication follow through with tasks assigned and works well independently or as part of team. need approximately 12 weeks of full time employment to obtain required hrs to be qualified to take state 06 electrical license exam. have been employed with IBEW Local 46 for past 10 years at various companies and location.
Most recent employer was Cochran Electric and it was on the Microsoft Campus Expansion in Redmond was there for over 1 year.
I recieve 48 hrs of state certified continuing education every 2 years to keep my electrical trainee license current in the state of Washington. I have a certification of completion in network security from lake Washington community college.
