Clinical Practicum – PET/CT Imaging at Hospital University of Pennsylvania (2025-09 – 2025-12)

• Performed 150+ PET/CT scans including oncology staging (FDG), neurology (Amyvid), and myocardial perfusion imaging (Rubidium-82)
• Administered radiopharmaceuticals via IV injection (uptake 90%+ first-attempt success rate)
• Operated Siemens PET/CT systems; performed daily QC including normalization, blank scans, and dose calibrator checks
• Collaborated with radiologists to ensure optimal image acquisition parameters and contrast administration protocols
• Educated patients on procedure protocols, managing claustrophobia and anxiety in 20+ patients weekly

Clinical Rotation – General Nuclear Medicine at Hospital University of Pennsylvania / Cooper University Hospital (2025-09 – 2026-04)

• Executed full range of diagnostic procedures: bone scans, renal function studies (MAG3), thyroid uptakes, hepatobiliary imaging (HIDA), and gastric emptying studies
• Prepared and quality-tested technetium-99m radiopharmaceuticals using sterile technique in hot lab environment
• Maintained compliance with NRC regulations for radioactive material handling, storage, and waste disposal

Clinical Rotation – Cardiac Nuclear Medicine at Hospital University of Pennsylvania (2025-09 – 2025-12)

• Conducted 50+ myocardial perfusion stress tests (Sestamibi) using both treadmill and pharmacologic (Regadenoson) stress protocols
• Monitored patient vitals and ECG during stress testing; recognized and responded to adverse reactions under supervision
• Processed images using 4DM SIEMENS software for quantification of ejection fraction and perfusion defects
