I am 29 years old with a strong desire to expand my interests and knowledge on any front I can. Knowledge is power and the trip in which you gain that knowledge grants wisdom. My trip has taken many years and I like to think I've accumulated my share of wisdom during that time.
I found my passion for biological sciences while attending college at EKU. Upon finishing my undergraduate degree, I decided to pursue the medical field. I did this by applying to PA school, and was accepted into LMU's PA program.
During my time there, there were many circumstances that arose causing me to leave the program after the first semester. Upon returning home, I helped take care of my father who was diagnosed with cancer (Waldenstrom Macroglobulinemia). He completed his treatments, and has since been in remission!
His great news has led me to get back into the work field and allow me to pursue on with bettering my future with extra blessings to be thankful for, and with that I promised to continually better myself and be grateful for what I've been given. You never know how short life could be, so you'd best make the most of it.
