Communications Specialist –
Duties: Create, design and produce internal employee and stakeholder information communications. Work directly with all directors and department managers to gather materials for biweekly scheduled digital publication. Assist with special event management through public and media relations.
· Digital employee newsletter
· Special and emergency communications with internal stakeholders
· Produce news releases in English and Spanish
· Scheduling of weekly county appearance on local media outlets
· Spanish translation of documents and communications
· Schedule interviews for management with local media outlets
· Develop and restructure internal communications
· Contribute to Website and social media outlets
· On-camera presentations
· Quarterly tracking of performance and communication placement
