Throughout my career I have built strong strategies and teams that leverage their core competencies and talent to maximize outcomes and produce maximum impact. My most recent roles have leveraged a career in developing these skills. I am currently the President and Founder at my own firm Oxonia Triskelion Advisors where during over two years I’ve driven $500k+ in YoY revenue.
Prior to that I was directly involved with driving the ~$200M acquisition of Safe Banking Systems Inc. by Accuity Inc. and went on to hold the position of Global Vice President of Strategy & Alliances.
During the past two years I also established and am Chairperson of the New York City Chapter of the Association of Certified Sanctions Specialists (ACSS). In addition, I work in an Advisory capacity to a few FinTech start-ups. My experience and accomplishments span domestic and international assignments at levels including SVP, Principal, Director, Senior Management Consultant, Policy Advisor, Deputy Treasury Attaché and Senior Treasury Official.
I’m an enthusiastic leader with a history of delivering solutions that drive cost savings, increase compliance, and improve operations with employers like, HSBC, the US Department of Treasury, CSC, JPMorgan, SI International, SMS - San Martin, Suarez & Associates, and Systech S.A.
My background includes over 20 years in the financial services industry focused primarily in retail and commercial banking regulatory policy and oversight to ensure compliance and strengthen enterprise wide risk management. I’ve held positions on both sides of the private and public AML regulatory compliance regime having worked for US Treasury, private banking institutions and even AML compliance software vendors.
I have significant experience as a leader in the industry and well known Subject Matter Expert within the AML/BSA space. I have worked specifically on AML Regulatory Compliance, policy and procedures, oversight, Risk Governance, model validation, regulatory interaction, etc. I speak at AML conferences such as ACAMS and Moneylaundering.com, and in addition to publishing my own articles, I am quoted by several news outlets on current AML events worldwide.
I’m capable and comfortable with building relationships and partnerships with individuals at all levels including operational staff, managers and executives. Additionally, due to my extensive international travel I understand and appreciate the necessity of diversity to overall business success.
I've been working in the Financial Services space for 20+ years, applying technology solutions for risk, financial crimes and regulatory compliance, with 15+ years in AML analytics. My area of focus has been Anti MoneyLaundering, but also in development and deployment of fraud solutions. I have worked with-and-for some of the world's leading technology solutions providers.
Over the years I've worked as a FS consultant, US Regulator, SME, FS Executive and technician. I have worked closely with compliance and operational teams and been responsible for ensuring that analytics are fit for purpose, while exploring new learning and mining solutions such as Big Data, cognitive AI, machine learning, and cloud technologies.
I face challenges of defining and deploying AML 2.0 solutions for predictive analytics, Big Data mining technologies, machine learning, application of distributed blockchain ledger, and exploring the capabilities of new FS technologies and payment systems
Financial Crimes Compliance and Anti-money laundering Subject Matter Expert. CAMS Certified.
I've successfully supported business development and growth through identification of key decision points, value proposition and tactical and strategic approaches for closure where all parties realize a net gain.
