My journey to become a software engineer was quite sudden. During my work as a veterinary assistant, I really enjoyed the teamwork and problem solving aspects which contributed to my software engineer career path choice. I decided to bet on myself and enrolled into Hack Reactors 13-week advance software engineering program with 1000+ hours of coding. I've developed a passion for building software and contributing to a team as a full-stack engineer.

EarthMMO, Software Engineer | Javascript, React.js, Socket.io, Node.js, MongoDB Feb 2023 - Oct 2023

Multiplayer AR experience built with Next.js that creates fantasy RPG world for players

• Developed a feature in the app to streamline item collection by identifying and iterating through in-game objects, automatically transferring acquired items to the player's storage bag, and removing them from the game scene, allowing players to gather all items dropped by defeated enemies with a single click
• Improved questline experience by modifying NPC JSON structure allowing players to accept and turn-in quest to different NPC’s
• Implemented Window sessionStorage property to persist and apply current guest data to authenticated Google sign-in user and create patch request to MongoDB database to update current user from a guest account to personal account
• Designed map feature allowing 3rd parties to add their company location to game map instead of devs needing to manually add location
• Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills by isolating the root cause of modal closing bug and implementing a solution to ensure modals only closed when intended
• Coordinated with other engineers to evaluate software and hardware interfaces and debug technical issues

Pioneer Mind, Software Engineer | Python, LangChain July 2023 - August 2023

LLM built using Langchain and ChatGPT API to analyze meeting transcripts and find areas of interest

• Leveraged Python and the Gong API to extract call transcripts, cleaned call transcript data to ensure compatibility with the Symbl API and interfaced with the API to analyze call transcripts, identifying pain points and requested features
• Collaborated with cofounder to develop large language model using LangChain framework and ChatGPT API
• Harnessed the capabilities of LangChain using document loaders to efficiently load text data, chunking and embedding documents, storing the processed text data as vectors within a Pinecone vector database, and configured queries to identify pain points and requested features
