In my current role as a General Associate at a B2B SAAS company, I gained in several different areas of the company. My primary duties were aggregating and analyzing data, and translating it into actionable insights that the company could then use to make strategic decisions. I also gained experience generating and qualifying leads, serving as the executive for multiple client accounts, and managing the sales pipeline within the CRM.
As a Finance student at San Jose State University, I gained experience in financial analysis, financial statement analysis, conducting market research, financial accounting and working collaboratively with a team to accomplish goals.
In my role as an Analyst in the university's student managed investment fund, I conducted cash flow forecasting, analyzed financial statements and performed industry research using a variety of financial research tools. I would then use the research to create presentations, and present them to the fund to curate a buy, hold or sell recommendation.
I participated in Zinnstarter, the university's startup accelerator sponsored by Ray Zinn. As a member of the cohort, we developed a business plan and go-to-market strategy, and then pitched to the rest of the cohort and a multitude of experienced mentors.
