Joshua Finfrock

I'm currently a student at ASU studying electrical engineering in hopes of working at General Dynamics. I have a passion for airsoft, firearms, and technology and would like to pursue a career in that field. My greatest skill is work ethic because I promised myself to only apply for jobs that bring me joy.

With that promise in mind, I apply myself diligently in any position I'm put in because I love my work. Being a student and finding a part-time job is pretty difficult as most jobs don't have flexible schedules and it conflicts with my studies but I'm still actively pursuing jobs that add to my work experience.

I previously worked at my local airsoft field as a technician where I was tasked with customer service, repairs, cleaning, troubleshooting, and maintenance. I worked there for a year but management quality declined with the addition of a few employees from a failed airsoft business. After a while, I no longer wanted to affiliate myself with the low-quality work coming from both my department and the overall establishment.

The stress from my work, which started as a hobby, started to affect my passion for the field so I quit.

I have completed high school and am now working towards my degree in electrical engineering from ASU.
