I am currently a freshman with sophomore standing at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, pursuing a double major in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. My academic background includes advanced coursework in Object Oriented Software Development, Digital Systems, and Statics and Mechanics of Materials, which I have completed with a GPA of 3.56 and recognition on the Dean’s List.
My technical skills span software and hardware domains, including proficiency in CAD, Microsoft Excel, Python, C++, Java, Quartus, and Maple. I have hands-on experience performing laboratory work, developing test procedures, writing code for specific requirements, building computers, and working on various automotive systems.
In addition to my technical abilities, I have developed leadership and management skills through running a car detailing business, Tucson Washes, where I served as a co-founder and managed a team of employees. My work experience also includes serving as an Automotive Technician Apprentice at F1N1 Performance, where I worked alongside professional mechanics to fix and modify high-performance cars.
I am passionate about engineering and have completed projects such as designing and building a simple electric motor using magnetic force principles. My commitment to teamwork and service is reflected in my volunteer experience as a banquet server and planner for St. Thomas the Apostle Roman Catholic Parish.
Beyond academics and work, I am actively involved in athletics, including varsity basketball and track in high school, and participation in Rose-Hulman’s basketball and track teams. I am also conversational in Chinese, Japanese, and Spanish.
