Julia Ferrara

Hello, I’m Julia!

I am 19 years old and attend SUNY Fredonia for my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Acting as my major, with minors in Music and Dance. I love performing, of course, but I also love spending my summers working with kids.

I have spent 3 summers as a camp counselor and find that I work exceedingly well with children and thrived in interactions with my coworkers and superiors.

I like to think I am known for maintaining a positive attitude and sunny personality. I am very personable and enjoy meeting new people.

I have a valid NYS driver’s license and have taken 6 years of Spanish classes.

I worked first at Ivy League Day Camp the summer of 2020 as a counselor to twelve 5 year old boys. I then worked at a camp I attended as a child the summers of 2021 and 2022, the Town of Brookhaven Summer Fun Camp and was a counselor to twenty five girls aged 8 to 12. At both camps, the priority was safety while still making sure the kids had fun, but other responsibilities include taking the kids from activity to activity throughout the day, making sure they kept hydrated and had sunscreen, engaging with them in games we played or at pool, and assisting with early morning and late afternoon care.

I have my high school diploma from Centereach High School, and have just completed my first year of college education at the State University of New York at Fredonia for my BFA degree in Acting with minors in Music and Dance.

I graduated from high school in 2022 and am on track to graduate from college in 2026.
