Julia Harper

My previous work experience has prepared me to be observant and task oriented. I am extremely interested in both cyber security and cloud computing. I am new to the field of computer science and am open to all possibilities in broadening my background/understanding. I have a grasp on the workings of Python with completion in coding concepts.

While my computational experience is limited, I would like to show how my GPA of 3.7 is representative of the type of work-ethic I put forth toward new material. My courses at Harold Washington have created a deeper understanding of the concepts of trouble shooting, dealing with internet connectivity issues, and problem solving. I have educational experience with Python, C++, and Java. However, having hands on experience will drive the connections between learned programming and practical application of the process.

I have done a lot of work in team building and group trainings. Recently I had a year long internship with the University of Chicago. With the University I worked on projects such as creation of training materials, video content, and code work.

I have college course work in Python, C++, and Java. I am a sophomore looking to graduate soon with my associates degree and transfer to a 4 year college.
