Julia Kasper is a recent graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a Certificate in Digital Media. She is the Founder and Teen Board Manager of Girls Spark, a nonprofit organization she launched in 2018 to empower teenage girls across the Tri-State area. Driven by a mission to foster a supportive environment, Girls Spark provides educational programs to girls aged 11-18 to support their social, emotional, mental, and economic well-being.
Julia's recent achievements include being recognized as the Women’s Resource Center's 2021 Mission in Action Honoree for her leadership and community impact through Girls Spark, and she was the 2022 Keynote Speaker for the National Charity League's Valley Forge Chapter. Growing up in the digital age and navigating challenges herself, Julia has a deep commitment to mental health advocacy, LGBTQIA+ rights, women's empowerment, media diversity, safe spaces for young women, and equal opportunity for all. She is known for her creativity, passion, and ability to connect with others, bringing innovation and compelling storytelling to every project.
