Jumi Gore

Hi, I’m Jumi. 28 years old. Have lived in Austin, Texas most of my life. I was originally born in South Sudan, Africa. My parents moved here when I was little. I grew up in the north Austin area and in Manor for a short time after Highschool.

Last 4 years I’ve stepped foot into sales. Life Insurance and Roofing industry and enjoy the fast paced environment and competitiveness of it. I consider myself a quick learner, very goal driven, and a team player. Being a roofer and broker has taught me a lot of things that I use in my everyday life today. Things such as paying attention to detail, being a good listener, discipline, and problem solving.

When I’m not working I like to spend time with my 2 year old Belgian Malinois. Training, playing, hiking trails, etc. Spend time with friends and family when I can.

Insurance Broker - My role as an Insurance Broker was to make phone calls to people who filled out forms or cards that were looking for more information or assistance in getting Life/Health Insurance, or IUL/Annuities.

I had the ability to be able to assist them in the best way and cater to their exact needs because I was appointed to 30+ A Rated carriers in the U.S. by getting information on their situation, budgets, and reason for the policy. I could get them qualified, approved, and Insured.

Roofer - As a roofer, my role was to find clients who had really old roofs or neighborhoods that suffered from a natural storm and sustained damage to their home and property.

The way I’d get my leads would be going door to door or referrals. My job was to inspect the roof looking for things like hail hits, missing/lifted shingles, dents in metal components, soft spots, etc. As well as any collateral areas on the property such as gutters, fence, window screens, siding and more.

After the inspection I would walk them through the next steps explaining the process from start to finish and helping them along the way.
