Kacy Chavez

I'm almost 40 years old. I have nearly 20 years of administrative experience in the care giving field. I'm currently enrolled at Shasta college completing the welding program.

I have nearly 20 years of experience in the care-providing field, with a focus on supporting adults with challenging behaviors. My professional journey has encompassed roles ranging from direct client care to senior leadership positions. As a director, I managed the hiring, placement, orientation, and continued education of nearly 300 employees, collaborated with HR to enforce company standards, and wrote and implemented policies and procedures. I developed wage and compensation programs, interfaced with regulators and the public, and was available 24/7 to resolve both systemic and day-to-day issues. This breadth of experience has equipped me with strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills, along with a deep commitment to improving care services.

I have an AS in dental assisting from SJVC and I'm currently working on an AS in welding from Shasta college.
