I am a North Dakota girl born and raised with an insatiable appetite for adventure and a real passion for connecting people to experiences that create lifelong memories. I received a degree in Public Relations and Communications and immediately expanded that knowledge by joining the Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation and working from intern to director taking time to intimately learn each aspect of a marketing and communications department with an emphasis on hospitality, travel and tourism, and nonprofit sectors.
On a personal side, I am a half marathoner, a lover of all things outdoors, and a dry wit sort of gal. I appreciate the home and growth North Dakota has given me and I am ready for the right opportunity to launch me into experiences beyond the bounds of what I know.
I have extensive experience in B2C marketing through the travel and tourism industry and B2B experience on the non-profit side of what the Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation (TRMF) does. I direct a seven-figure annual budget in the placement of our digital and traditional media mix, physical marketing tactics, communication pitches, and team development. I am highly skilled in social media on the organic and paid side, e-mail marketing, WordPress website hosting, google ads and business listings, and fostering relationships with media, influencers, guests, and stakeholders. I am a seasoned copywriter and editor and currently oversee the brand development of Medora, ND and TRMF. I serve on our executive team and as the marketing connection for TRMF's Board of Directors. In my role as director, I also oversee a team of five full-time employees, two agency relationships, and the internal cross-departmental peer relationships of my company.
I received my bachelor's degree education in Communications and Public Relations. My career education has fallen into a mix of marketing and advertising, communications and public relations, and brand design and development.
