I'm a Clinically Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA), and have been for three years. I'm currently in the process of furthering my degree and hope to obtain my Practical Nursing License.
I've primarily been a clerical Medical Assistant working with insurance companies to approve medications for my patients. My hope/goal is to work part-time (preferably remote) as a Prior Authorization specialist. I know medical terminology, I've done an extensive amount of authorizations already, and I honestly care about my patients' well-being.
I've been a Clinically Certified Medical Assistant for the past three years
Pre-requisite classes for LPN school. Total of 9 credit hours. I am currently waiting on the approval notice at this time from the board of nursing.
