I made my Broadway debut in the title role of Kim in The Original Broadway Miss Saigon, and have appeared as Tuptim in The King and I on Broadway, and Baz Luhrmann’s adaptation of La Bohème. I also attended the Academy of Vocal Arts and have done some regional opera and many concerts.
My classes focus on voice, theatrical performance techniques, storytelling and musical movement.
With a wide familiarity with the art song, opera, musical theater, and contemporary repertoire, I meet students where they are and share all the vocal, performance, and professional wisdom I have acquired over the years.
I have taught Master Classes for 92nd St Y in NYC, Spelman College, Toledo School of the Arts, and am a teaching artist for the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta, GA.
