Undergraduate English major with experience working on literary journals and heading book clubs. Taken a wide array of English classes covering topics from Shakespeare to contemporary American literature. Avid reader, fiction writer, and poet.
I enjoy sparking up conversations with and assisting other people, two skills I've honed throughout my time working in Bowdoin College's dining halls and working on Residential Life. I'm accustomed to greeting others, making them feel welcome, and answering any questions they have. I'm excited for the opportunity to work in settings that foster community around literature.
Previously, I've headed book clubs and literary journals that enjoy and analyze a wide variety of writing. I cherish building connections with peers and coworkers, especially when collaborating on how to achieve a common goal. Working on Residential Life has also equipped me with the skills to manage and resolve unforeseen conflicts or interpersonal disputes.
I'm an undergraduate English major who has taken classes such as Climate Fiction, American Lit Since 1945, Shakespeare's Tragedies, Paradise Lost, and more. I'm well versed in the consumption and analysis of writing. I specifically like writing that stretches between genres or bends genre in interesting ways.
