Karan Patel

My passion for finance and my commitment to excellence have driven me to pursue a career in this field. I plan to have a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Hospitality Management from the University of South Carolina, where I developed a strong foundation in financial analysis, risk management, and investment strategies. During my academic journey, I consistently achieved top grades and actively participated in finance-related clubs and competitions, honing my financial acumen and analytical skills.

My professional experience includes Drury Hotels, Home2 Suites, and Quality Inn. All though all these are in the hotel industry, I have done a lot of financial work for their businesses. In my previous role at Drury Hotels, I worked on the revenue/expenses side of the hotel, while I did get to work outside of the business.

I also did the front desk at the hotel and assisted guests in any way I could. At the same time, having the teamwork experience and guest experience enhanced my ability to perform better in any aspect.
