• Underwent a detailed, intensive 1.2K-hour CAAHEP-accredited program that covered theoretical application of anatomy, physiology, microbiology, pharmacology, surgical procedures, and operating room (OR) setup 
• Memorized and mastered scrubbing, gowning, gloving, draping, instrumentation passing, sterilization and aseptic techniques with enthusiasm and vigor
• Completed a 600-hour clinical internship Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, NJ as part of studies
• Took and passed the NBSTSA, which served as a qualifier for the Licensed Surgical Technologist credential
